Mexican Fire Opal is a beautiful but finicky stone. This one shows a brilliant pocket of colour in the lower corner as well as several small clear opal deposits in the rhyolite matrix. Before we set fire opal, we always allow the stones to age a year afer cutting as it can be unstable and change colours or craze, this one has stayed vibrant and is now set in sterling silver. The pendant measures about 1.75"  in length and just over 1" across. It comes with a 16" sterling chain and is gift boxed.  $149.00 CAD
